    Tulip Restaurant | Geelong

I just grab my camera when I go out for dinner. No flash or lighting. We were there early and there was some light left in the sky as the first course came out. I managed to take a couple of shots before the light faded completely.

    Delicious Donuts

This wasn’t a product shoot, or a food shoot. I was brought in to help with photographing the opening of a new service station.

While I was there they mentioned that they had a new product.. I had a choice. Nikon zoom or Leica 23mm Summicron. If I have a choice I will always pick the Summicron for the insanely sharp focus but idealy I would use a longer lens.

That is a great product and I could not resist going for a shot. The 23mm Leica Summicron is such an incredible lens that it allows you to do this sort of nonsense.

This was shot using a 40 year old Zuiko Lens on a modern Leica CL digital camera. It was a fantastic lens in its time. Lens technology has moved on!
