I love black and white. It’s my thing. It focuses on the moment and the emotion without any distractions. But I’m not a purist. This is your event, not my art project.

Okay, full disclosure on how the day works:
I show up with two cameras.

First, the big, obvious Nikon with its Swiss Army knife zoom lens and a flash. That’s for all those cheesy photos you know someone is going to ask for. I’ll get those formal group shots done quickly and painlessly, with all the ‘say cheese!’ energy you need.

I always have my small, quiet Leica. That’s for The Real Moments—the laughs, the hugs, the unposed conversations. The stuff you actually want to remember. The optics give these candid images a natural, timeless depth that doesn’t feel overly sharpened or artificial [NPR].

What you get:

You’ll get all the finished photos delivered in full color. And because I can’t help myself, I’ll also include a curated gallery of black and white edits of those quiet, candid moments.

How I work

• Two-Hour Blocks: I work in two-hour chunks. It’s the perfect amount of time to properly cover a community gathering, a dedicated portrait session, or a local business shoot without anyone getting tired of me (or the camera).
• All Viable Images, Professionally Edited: You get every single photo that’s worth keeping, beautifully color-corrected and ready to print or share as . I don’t hide decent shots behind extra paywalls. This includes my signature black and white edits mixed throughout the gallery—it’s not an add-on product, it’s just how I see the story.
• Backup Camera Systems Onsite: I carry two professional camera systems the entire time. In the extremely rare event that a piece of gear fails, my backup is already up and running. Your moments are safe.
• Premium Print Access: While your digital files are completely free to download, I also link your gallery to a professional lab. If you want timeless prints, they use archival-grade paper to ensure your photos last for generations without fading or yellowing.
