How I Work On Location
Norlane. Geelong.
I have a studio space for small product photography, but for people, I bring the studio to you. I work on location with portable lighting, backdrops, and equipment suited to the environment.
What I bring:
- Multiple wireless speedlights and reflectors
- Studio strobes (where power is available)
- Green screen & backdrop options (if needed)
- Everything required to shape light professionally, anywhere
I don’t rely on fixed studios or artificial backgrounds. I bring controlled, intentional lighting to you, so your photos look real.
My Approach to Photography
I focus on getting the shot right in the camera. It’s faster and is authentic. The tools matter, too. I shoot with Leica lenses for their rendering and clarity, which makes getting it right in-camera that much more achievable.
While I’ll use traditional composites for technical challenge, like blending exposures. I don’t use AI editing.
A lot of what people see now on their phones is a weird pastiche: perfectly imperfect faces, dreamy skies that never existed, light that doesn’t make sense. It looks real… until it doesn’t, then, It feels fake because it is.
My job is to show what was actually there. Not an algorithm’s idea of what should’ve been.
DELIVERY
Photos can be delivered same day if required.
In general next day is better as it gives me a bit more time to select and modify exposure of the shots.
