I was passing though Altona (as you do) and it was low tide allowing me to see around the corner to the city. You will notice a red sign. In the olden days ( last year) I would have edited this out, but it’s important that my photos show reality and not some AI fever dream.
Original image on Flickr.

Saltbush, pigface and others make this a vibrant photo. It’s simple and was overlooked on the first cut. It’s one of those photos that needs to be printed.

My job as a photographer is to make you look good, to document your event, make your product or food look amazing. This blog is not commercial, it’s not about trying to sell you something. This was taken on the tiny Leica Dlux7 . It constantly amazes me. The quality of the images it produces are really a class above anything I would expect from a compact camera.

It has been busy with commercial work for a week or two. The days are short and frankly I have been tired. Here is one from the past.
