Developing AI scenes

It’s more than putting a background behind a model. We have been doing this for a long time with Photoshop. Generative AI allows us to subtly edit the person into the environment. I have used an AI-generated person here but it could just as easily be your photograph.

In the previous post, I generated this image from two apples. If that sounds a bit mad, Get used to it. It’s the wild world of artificial intelligence.

investigating the subtle changes that can be introduced to a person depending on their environment.

Our starting image

n this series of images, I have not used Photoshop or edited the photos outside of Stable Diffusion generative AI software. You are looking at my adventures in AI and how it applies to photography.

She went to the desert, messed up her hair and appears to have worked on her 4WD.

The subtle difference in eye brightness, hair and the amount of dirt on her face is purely generated from the knowledge that she is in the desert.

On return to real life…

This is a much softer look just guided with stable diffusion to make her more professional in an office environment. I also forgot to mask her eyes. let’s pretend she is wearing contacts!

Back to work on Monday

Using Stable Diffusion I added business professional makeup being careful not to alter the facial shape.

A few years and adventures later.
